We students were inspired to write about this place because
we had the chance to experience it firsthand. We walked through massive hangars
filled with aircraft, took pictures next to fighter jets, and even learned how
radar systems work. One of the most exciting parts was seeing the inside of a
real cockpit and imagining what it’s like to fly one of those powerful
machines.
